Finnish Roller Derby Championship series begins!

The 7th season of Finnish Roller Derby Championship series will begin with three nailbiter bouts on Saturday 19th January, 2019 at Pasila Sports Hall!

The first match of day is between the capital city’s two home teams, Kallio Rolling Rainbow’s Kinapori Fistfunkers and Helsinki Roller Derby’s Queen B’s.

The second bout will see the reigning Finnish champion, Oulu Roller Derby’s Shitty City Rollers take on Dirty River Roller Derby’s Föri Fighters from Turku.

Last but certainly not least, the season is kicked off fully by last year’s Finnish division 1 winner, Jyväskylä Roller Derby and Tampere Roller Derby All-Stars.

14.45–16.30 Oulu Roller Derby – Dirty River Roller Derby

17.30–19.30 Jyväskylä Roller Derby – Tampere Roller Derby

Accessibility: The venue is labelled as unobstructed, but there is a small curb in front of the entrance and no automatic doors. There is an elevator but it has relatively heavy doors that need to be pushed to open. Audience members with wheelchairs can move without obstruction on the floor where the stands are.
